Here is a historical moment about the first group meeting of SM&RA. In this meeting, Dr. Li presented his view on research for research students' success. Azam, Sha, Zhenning, Jianyuan, and Liying made presentations about their research updates. Thanks to Sha for taking this photo. After several weeks' exploration, 20 students (12 teams) in the structural reliability course presented their team projects on various topics. The topics included reliability applications to timber, masonry, steel columns, pipelines, existing structures, corrosion, and composite materials, as well as reliability software implementation and machine learning-based reliability analysis. The students have done very well, and their efforts are highly appreciated.
